Free Opening Day 2014: SF “Dogfish” Professional Ultimate Frisbee | SF

One of SF’s Pro Ultimate Frisbee teams, the San Francisco Dogfish, are hooking all Funcheap readers up with free admission to the 2014 opening day April 12th match against the Seattle Rainmakers.

Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports in the US and abroad. The games are full of action, the music and fan activities during the game are non stop plus there’s food trucks and beer for sale.

About the San Francisco Dogfish:

The San Francisco Dogfish are a professional Ultimate Frisbee team entering their second season of Major League Ultimate. The team is named for a shark species whose members work together to hunt their prey.

Drawing from talent that includes 2012 world and 2013 national champions at the club level, the Dogfish represent the elite competitiveness and athleticism that has defined Bay Area Ultimate for more than 30 years.

Games are played at Boxer Stadium in Balboa Park at 2 pm on April 12, April 26, May 17, June 7 and June 21.
