Our Family BikeFest is back again this year, and better than ever!
This year you can WIN A FREE WOOM KIDS BIKE JUST FOR SHOWING UP: We are giving away a Woom bike of your choosing – entrees are free for every kid who attends and every adult who pre-registers!*
Bike Parades & Challenge
Our family and kid friendly bike parades are the highlight of the day!
- 10 AM Tot Bike Parade – Our day will start with a Tot & Younger Kids sized bike parade around our very own Precita Park! Check out the brand new bathroom and fresh pavement while you are out here
- 10:30 AM Family Bike Parade – An all ages loop through the Mission for kids who are ready to ride on city street on their own, with a disco break at In Chan Kajaal
- 10:30 AM Tween Adventure Ride – For kids who are too cool for the family bike parade, we will offer an scavenger hunt/ adventure ride for kids on their own through the Mission.
Block Party
Our Harrison Street block party will be a blast, including:
- Pre-Ride Stretch led by our friends from Fog City Community Fitness
- Rock the Bike smoothies and spin art
- Bike decorating led by the Flynn Girl Scout troop
- Tot bike play yard area
- Music, chalk, and bubbles, and who knows what more.
Woom Bike Giveaway
Yes! A free Woom of your choice!
- No purchase or donation is required to be eligible for the giveaway.
- One entry for any family who registers for Family BikeFest prior to 6 PM, April 10, on GiveButter and then confirms their attendance between 9 AM and 2:30 PM on April 11th at the Woom Giveaway registration table.
- One entry for each child who attends Family BikeFest, between 9 AM and 2:30 PM on April 11th and presents at the Woom Giveaway registration table.
- Each entry must be associated with an email address or a phone number.

About Leonard R. Flynn Elementary
Leonard R. Flynn Elementary is a public elementary school on the edge of the Mission District & Bernal Heights. Our children come from diverse communities throughout the city. Over 65% are from low income families, and over 40% are English Language Learners. The PTA provides funding for a wide range of programs from physical education to the garden program, arts programs, and is playing an increasingly large role in funding necessities for the school such as teacher grants, books, supplies, and technology for all classrooms & teachers.
