Event Details

SF History Night | Pacific Heights

The San Francisco History Association hosts monthly talks which explore our city’s enchanting history in depth.

Each month, a local history expert hosts a themed talk usually accompanied by a slide show with light refreshments.

SF History Night | Pacific Heights

Guest speaker: Ron Ross, SFHA founder and president

For our last meeting of the year, Ron will share his collection of rare magic lantern slides, featuring dozens of photographs of early San Francisco, including 1906 earthquake scenes and images from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Ron has great stories to tell to go with the pictures — and group participation is encouraged at this program!
