SF Pride 2023 Kickoff Party at Castro Theater

Join us June 2nd for a fabulous kick-off celebration at the historic Castro Theatre, “SF Pride 2023 Kick-Off: A Night of Queer Entertainment”. Featuring a jaw-dropping lineup of Bay Area legends across art forms such as drag, theatre, music and film.

This year we want to reflect on the lessons and triumphs of our past woven together with the emergent thought of contemporary social justice warriors. Our lineup celebrates intergenerational liberation by spotlighting Bay Area history through the “The Compton’s Cafeteria Riot” play, the films “Verasphere” and “The Girl From 7th Avenue”, and up-and-coming local legends in multi-disciplinary performances.

Our thrilling night of entertainment will also include DJs, dancers, raffles, and tasty libations provided by our partner Menage a Trois. We want to extend a special thank you to Another Planet for granting us use of the world-renowned Castro Theatre. We look forward to starting this Pride season with great flair and unapologetic flamboyance!
