Event Details

As part of the SFPW Love Our City program, SFPW hosts one community gardening and clean up event per San Francisco supervisor district each calendar year.
On Saturday, September 16, the District 3 community gardening and clean up event will be at Russian Hill’s Chestnut Steps at Larkin.

Volunteers arrive at Francisco Middle School, 2190 Powell St at Francisco, between 8:30 AM and 9 AM and sign in.
SFPW will hold a short speaking program to go over the day’s activities and provide a quick safety overview.
Volunteers and Public Works staff then will head to their assigned work sites, Chestnut Steps at Larkin.
Work will take place for about 3 hours, with everyone returning to Francisco Middle School around noon to have sandwiches together.
What to Wear/Bring
Wear closed toe shoes and sunscreen
Bring a bottle of water
