Event Details

San Francisco Zine Fest, Northern California’s oldest and largest DIY publishing festival, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special live event at Patreon HQ. Join the SFZF organizers, artists and fans to watch some of the Bay Area’s favorite zinesters read their work and answer tough questions from… each other.

This event is free, but you must register.

Featuring:

  • Ajuan Mance, academic and comic artist
  • Liz Mayorga ART, former SFZF executive director and author of BREAD AND BUTTER (Rosarium, 2016)
  • Minnie Phan Illustration, comic artist and illustrator
  • Awkward Ladies Club, letterpress artist and reformed microbiologist

Introduced by Channing Kennedy, SFZF executive director. Doors open at 6:30pm; reading begins at 7pm sharp.

Drinks and light snacks to be provided; artists will have work for sale. This event is the launch for SFZF’s brand-new Patreon crowdfunding campaign, and is made possible by a generous donation from Patreon.

San Francisco Zine Fest is a member of the Intersection Incubator, a program of Intersection for the Arts providing fiscal sponsorship, networking and consulting for artists.
