Local music fans are gearing up for warm weather and smooth sounds with the arrival of SFJazz Summerfest at the Stanford Shopping Center.

Quinn DeVeaux and the Blue Beat Review – August 16

Led by the magnetic vocalist and guitarist Quinn DeVeaux, the Blue Beat Review distills the blues, gospel, country, and soul into a funky celebration. Like the sweating gospel churches that began the soul music of the late 50’s and 60’s, Quinn DeVeaux and his power-packed band will have the Stanford crowd on their feet and feeling the spirit.

The ten-week concert series is hosted by Stanford Shopping Center and produced by SFJAZZ, a leading non-profit jazz organization on the West Coast .
