Visit the museum for free and experience the vibrant creativity of San Francisco’s Mission District all day long with a lowrider display on Third Street; Mercado featuring crafts by local artisans; a digital mural installation by Lauren Rose D’Amato and Derek Holguin activated with a performance by musician and local feminist icon La Doña; as well as music, comedy and dance performances curated by SFMOMA’s community partner in residence Accíon Latina, including Grupo Jaranero Yucatán, Inti Batey, Carlos Aguirre, Edna Mira Raia and more.

All day long, visit the museum galleries for free and experience a community screening and dialogue around Moving a Masterpiece, the Emmy-award-winning documentary about Diego Rivera’s Pan American Unity, co-produced by SFMOMA and NBC; and of course, the public’s first peek at Diego Rivera’s America.
