Event Details

SFCB’s 18th annual Roadworks Steamroller Printing Festival takes place this weekend!

Sunday, September 26th :: 11 am – 4 pm
Location: Rhode Island Street between 16th and 17th Streets, San Francisco, CA. 94103

Featured Classic Print artists: Katherine Case :: Danguole Kuolas :: Rik Olson :: Eric Rewitzer :: Michelle Wilson

The steamroller’s back for another inky year! Our friends at Roots of Motive Power will be working with SFCB Studio Director Chad Johnson and a team of volunteers to make a BIG impression with their 7-ton 1924 Buffalo Springfield steamroller. In addition to our five Classic Prints artists, we’ll be printing up the work of over thirty Personal Print artists!

Activities throughout the day include a variety of demonstrations from our bookbinding, letterpress, and arts instructors. We’ll also be celebrating SFCB’s 25th anniversary with our “Calling All Creatives” pop up exhibition.

We can hardly wait to see you on September 26th!
