SF’s 18th Annual City-Wide Kwanzaa Celebration (2023-2024)

The Village Project and our community partners will present our 18th annual Kwanzaa celebrations at various venues throughout San Francisco, with seven days of community events, starting on Dec. 26, 2023 through January 1, 2024. Striving to unite and strengthen our family, community and nation, we will celebrate each of the seven principles of Kwanzaa (the Nguzo Saba).

This year’s Kwanzaa Celebration starts on Dec. 26th at City Hall at 12 Noon. Each of our evening programs will end with a concert performance, featuring some of the rhythm & blues greats.

The entertainment line-up for 2023-2024 will include blues bands, dance performances, spoken word, and keynote speakers. Our concert headliners will include a myriad of rhythm & blues and jazz performers, featuring Vivian Green, Tia Carroll, The Mary Jane Girls, Michael Skinner Blues Band, Lakeside, Keith Washington and Niecey, Living Single. (Lineup subject to change)
