As we wrap up California Native American Day Please join us for the American Indian Cultural District’s One Year Anniversary and Cultural Hub Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, September 25th from 12 – 3 pm at Great Meadow Park (Bay St. San Francisco, Ca 94123) as we Honor Voices of the Past and Elevate Visions of the Future.

Event activities include celebrating with traditional song & dance, recognizing American Indian leadership, recognizing elected officials who support AICD, updates from SF American Indian organizations, youth murals, and basket making demonstrations. Food available for purchase at Sweet Sonya’s frybread.

The New American Indian Cultural District Cultural Hub will include the International Indian Treaty Council, Restoring Justice for Indigenous Peoples, Association of Ramaytush Ohlone, Save California Salmon, and serve as a satellite office for the American Indian Cultural Center.

For the protection of our community and our elders please wear face masks and practice social distancing. Seating is limited to the first 180 guests and prioritized for elders and special guests so please bring blankets or chairs in case seating is not available.
