Hungry Ghost Festival returns to San Francisco Chinatown on August 17, 2024.

Following the great success of the inaugural Hungry Ghost Festival last year, CCC is bringing the festival back to you on August 17, 2024. Chinatown will transform into a rousing celebration of honoring ancestors and wandering spirits into the night.

The theme for this year’s annual Hungry Ghost Festival is “Downpour, Uproar!”, chasing the emotions and catharsis of rage and sorrow. The 2024 lineup includes a shopping challenge, art activation, a procession, and live performances.
