SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025

The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.

Yerba Buena Gardens ChoreoFest (Day Two)
Sat, July 26 | 1pm – 2:30pm
Great Lawn, Yerba Buena Gardens
Mission St. between 3rd & 4th Sts.
San Francisco, CA

Yerba Buena Gardens ChoreoFest 2025 occurs on two days: Saturday, July 19 and Saturday, July 26.

Like a wall waiting for a mural or a stage ready for a play, the Gardens call for human bodies in motion. Yerba Buena Gardens ChoreoFest, a two-weekend festival of site-specific work, turns the Gardens’ various open spaces into a showcase for the extravagant creativity, diversity and vibrancy of the Bay Area dance scene. Co-curated by David Herrera, Artistic Director of David Herrera Performance Company and Ashley Gayle, Associate Artistic Director of PUSH Dance Company, YBG ChoreoFest includes new work by a bevy of brilliant choreographers and dance companies. This year’s program includes modern dance by Jocelyn Reyes, the queer bachata and salsa moves of In Lak’echCharya Burt’s Cambodian dance, Kyle Limin’s contemporary hip hop, Erin Yen’s dragons dance and the interdisciplinary South Asian drag of SNJV. PUSH Dance, choreographed by Ashley Gayle, and David Herrera Performance Company, choreographed by David Herrera, are also participating. Together, Gayle and Herrera have curated the seventh annual YBG ChoreoFest with extraordinary performances throughout the Gardens’ lawns and architecture.

Note: This program moves to various locations in Yerba Buena Gardens. Check back for detailed program information.
