SF’s “City Star Party” w/ Telescopes on Tunnel Tops Park (The Presidio)

May the Stars be with You!

Join the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers for an otherworldly night of stargazing in the Presidio! Our rebel alliance of astronomers will guide you through views of distant star systems, nebulous cloud cities, and more through our fleet of telescopes.

When: Saturday, May 3rd, 8:00-11:00 pm
Where: Tunnel Tops National Park – East Meadow (adjacent to Picnic Place, 210 Lincoln Blvd)

As this is an outdoor nighttime event, please dress warmly as it can get cold and windy. The event will be cancelled in case of rain, heavy fog or overcast skies, an announcement will be made by 12pm the day of the star party. Be sure to follow us on Instagram for day-of updates.

Parking available near Picnic Place or the Main Parade Lawn. Enter the park and look for the SFAA signs near the East Meadow to find the telescopes.
