Join us for the first edition of the Europe in the Park event — a vibrant celebration of European culture right here in San Francisco! On September 21st, Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park will transform into a European cultural hub featuring a variety of activities, performances, and delicious food.
Explore the rich diversity of Europe through interactive exhibits, cultural showcases, and traditional games. Savour authentic European flavours from local vendors, including Dutchman Stroopwafels, Porchetta Toscana, FrankoniYUM (German sausages), and more. All you need to bring is a chair or a picnic blanket to enjoy your time with us!

2:00 – 4:00 PM: CULTURAL PERFORMANCES
- SF Girls Chorus (2:00 – 2:20 PM): Enjoy the harmonious voices of the SF Girls Chorus as they open the event with a selection of choral pieces celebrating European culture.
- Lithuanian Women’s Choir (2:25 – 2:45 PM): Experience the rich vocal traditions of Lithuania with a performance by the Lithuanian Women’s Choir, showcasing their vibrant musical heritage.
- Italian Orchestra, La Scuola (2:50 – 3:10 PM): Delight in a performance by La Scuola’s Italian orchestra, bringing the sounds of Italy to Golden Gate Park with classical and contemporary pieces.
- Boyle Irish Dance Academy (3:15 – 3:35 PM): Witness the energy and precision of traditional Irish dance performed by the talented dancers of the Boyle Irish Dance Academy.
- Łowiczanie Polish Folk Dance Ensemble (3:40 – 4:00 PM): Let yourself get captivated by the colourful costumes and lively rhythms of Polish folk dances performed by the Łowiczanie ensemble.
4:05 – 6:00 PM: FILM SCREENINGS
- Mr. Hublot (Luxembourg, Oscar-winning short film, 4:05 – 4:20 PM): Watch the heart-warming and imaginative story of Mr. Hublot, an Oscar-winning animated short film from Luxembourg.
- Close (BE-FR-NL co-production, award-winning feature by Lukas Dhont, 4:25 – 6:00 PM): Conclude the day with a screening of Close, an award-winning feature film by Lukas Dhont, a BE-FR-NL co-production that has captivated audiences worldwide.
