SF Free Outdoor “Butchertown Jazz Festival ” | 2019

Join the Butchertown Jazz Fest to celebrate the burgeoning entertainment and neighborhood-based makers scene taking shape in the southeastern section of San Francisco.

Headlining this year’s festival will be Bay Area super group “Skip The Needle,” a funk metal collective featuring Shelley Doty and Katie Cash on guitars, Kofy Brown on drums, and Vicki Randle, a former longtime touring musician with the legendary Mavis Staples, on bass and percussion.

Craft food and drink makers — most of them based in the neighborhood — will line a closed-to-vehicles section of Lane Street, just off Third Street at Underwood and Van Dyke.
