SF’s Free Sunrise Run + Free Coffee & Morning DJ Set (The Marina)

Some of the best mornings of your life start before most people are awake. The city is quiet. The sky is beautiful. And when you’re sharing that with other people, running alongside someone you just met or a friend you haven’t seen in weeks, something shifts. It stops being just a workout. It becomes a shared moment.

Come enjoy the morning with us for a free sunrise run along one of the most beautiful routes in San Francisco. We’ll meet at 7am, run roughly 5k, and end with a live DJ set scoring the sunrise, plus complimentary coffee and conversation. Come with your crew or come solo, this is designed to be the kind of morning where you leave knowing more people than you showed up with.

What to expect:

• ~3 mile out-and-back (optional)

The details:

• Meet: To be disclosed in the Marina District SF
• Time: 7:00 AM
• There will be parking and a bathroom nearby
• Dress for the morning and as always, a potential slight breeze

Why sunrise? Why together? There’s real science behind starting your day with movement in early morning light. Sunlight in the first hour after waking triggers your cortisol awakening response, the natural hormonal signal that sets your circadian rhythm, sharpens focus, and anchors your energy for the rest of the day. That’s powerful on its own.

But here’s what we’ve noticed: most people already know they should get outside in the morning. The hard part isn’t knowing, it’s doing it. And the thing that actually gets you out the door isn’t an alarm clock or a habit tracker. It’s someone expecting you to show up. It’s the friend who texted “see you at 7.” It’s knowing you’re each other’s motivation and accountability partner.

That’s what this event is about. The sunrise is the setting. The people are the point.
