This year, the Shop and Dine in the 49 campaign promotes shopping at small businesses and neighborhood corridors throughout San Francisco.
Beginning on Wednesday, December 1 through December 18, 2021, in partnership with neighborhood merchant associations, a trolley car with Shop and Dine in the 49 decor will bring holiday festivities to 33 different neighborhood shopping districts throughout the City over three weekends.

The trolley will be going out every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each night it will stop at three merchant corridors, where there will be carolers, dancing elves and a warm beverage (typically either hot cocoa or hot apple cider).
The only exception will be on Wednesday, December 1st. The trolley will start at the Civic Center Tree lighting and going to Hayes Valley, and SOMA.
