San Francisco has always been a city that marches to the beat of its own drum and few beats have echoed louder through its streets than the music of The Grateful Dead.
This summer, fans of the iconic band, lovers of local culture, and anyone looking for a good time will have a new way to celebrate the legacy of the Dead in the neighborhood that started it all.
On Saturday, August 23, from 4PM to 10PM, the Jerry Crawl brings a fun, music-inspired pub crawl to Haight-Ashbury, one of San Francisco’s most historic and colorful neighborhoods. While this event is not officially affiliated with Jerry Garcia, Dead and Company, or The Grateful Dead, it’s a lively and respectful tribute to the band’s impact on music, culture, and community.
