Event Details

Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals (CCLP) and Myles Davis present “Justice For The Bay,” a benefit concert at The Knockout in San Francisco’s Mission District August 24. For one night only San Francisco’s finest DJ /producer Brycon and Tokyo’s legendary ill Sugi will be performing their latest collaborative album with support from local hip-hop and funk favorites MC Pauze, Nico Fasho, Myles Davis, DJ Jima, and T-Venom. During World War 2, the U.S. Navy began polluting the Bayview and Hunter’s Point neighborhoods of San Francisco from the shipyard it ran there. Many decades later, the Navy is gone but the toxic remnants of their nuclear testing and dumping appear in the high rates of respiratory illness and cancer in the area. All funds raised at this event will go to CCLP and their efforts to bring awareness and legal accountability to the responsible parties. The event is 21+ and music begins at 9pm.
