SF’s Massive Free “Poolside Daytime Disco” DJ Party (Union Square)

Union Square is turning into a giant outdoor dance floor for a free afternoon of Daytime Disco, the sunny dance party from Poolside, on Sunday, September 20. RSVP

Poolside will perform live from 1-5 pm, joined by special electronic guests for an afternoon of breezy beats and daytime dancing. The event is a follow-up to last year’s Daytime Disco party in the square.

Poolside founder Jeffrey Paradise is a former SFSU student who lived in San Francisco for years and got his start in the local nightlife scene as a DJ and promoter of the legendary Blow Up SF parties.

Poolside’s signature “Daytime Disco” sound is exactly what it sounds like: laid-back, sunny electronic music that’s made for dancing outside in the afternoon. The group has played major festivals including Coachella and Outside Lands, and now they’re bringing the party back to the middle of downtown.

The free concert is part of Another Planet Entertainment and the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department’s ongoing series of public-space shows around the city.
