Dust off your lederhosen and dirndl and get ready to raise a glass, because Oktoberfest on Front is back! Get ready for a street takeover featuring Stein holding competitions, live music, games, and all the ice-cold beer your heart desires. Prost!
Oktoberfest on Front 2025, hosted by the Downtown SF Partnership, is not only celebrating its second year as the larger iteration of Schroeder’s annual block party, but also the official first anniversary as California’s first-ever Entertainment Zone with bars on the block being permitted to sell to-go alcoholic beverages to attendees as they enjoy the festival.

What to Expect:
Join us for a day of celebration in the street supporting our local Front Street bars: Schroeder’s, Harrington’s Bar & Grill, and Royal Exchange.
- Food and Drinks: With over 70 beers on tap and German food specials between our three Front Street Bars, you’d best bring your appetite! See below for info on event specials.
- Fun on Front Street: Take your swing at axe throwing by Split the Wood, challenge your friends to a game of beer pong, and capture the moment at the vintage VW van photo op. Plus legendary beer hall games like Stein Holding and Beer Chugging!
- Live Music on the Outdoor Stage: Dance in the streets to performances by Ladyhosen and the high-energy dance band, Pop Rocks.
