Picnic party!

Let’s bask in the glory of Golden Gate Park with a communal picnic—roll up with a blanket and your favorite park snacks for a potluck.

Activities

Learn how to fly a kite When’s the last time you flew a kite? Whether it’s been years or something you’ve never done, Eric Lam will help get you flying high.

Cyanotype workshop Learn how to make a cyanotype using found items in Golden Gate Park. Led by Anton Belov, a local photographer and illustrator based in Outer Richmond. Find out more about his work at belovanton.com and @shot.by.anton.

Tell Us Something Between the Trees An art installation by Carly Steyer that invites participants to share something true about their love life. Carly is also the director of Crushing, a live monologue series about formative love experiences. Learn more about their upcoming show, which runs September 10-12, at crushing.show.

Community support This event is free to attend! This zine was a year in the making, so if you’re able to offer additional support, donations and volunteers are greatly appreciated (especially to cover event costs like compostable plateware and utensils.)

Seeking volunteers! Sign up here if you’re available to help.
