About Pushkin

Growing up with delicious meals cooked daily by our mothers and grandmas inspired the menu of Pushkin. Due to the limited space in our original location in San Francisco’s International Food Court, we first focused on serving pelmeni as our specialty

“Pelmeni” and “Vareniki” are traditional comfort food in all countries represented by the former Soviet Union. It is a staple food in any household, where the whole family gathers around the kitchen table to make a big batch of these little dumplings. They are then boiled and served with a big scoop of sour cream.

Since we opened our original location in March 2017, we have developed various recipes to introduce even more unique flavors wrapped in the traditional pelmeni skins. We have since added another all time favorite comfort/street food – Piroshki. Our piroshki are made just like our grandmothers used to make – fluffy buns very generously filled with meat/chicken/veg filling.

Looking at never ending lines of our loyal customers during lunch hours, we decided to expand to another location on the alley next door. In the new location we can now serve your favorite food in a more comfortable indoor and outdoor setting. You can now pair your favorite dumplings with a glass of beer or wine!

For those of you, who are looking to simply enjoy our pelmeni at home and share them with your friends and loved ones, we have a frozen dumplings delivery service in the Bay Area. Stocking up on your favorite meals has never been easier!

Pushkin Opening Hours:
