Event Details

“Corporate Personhood” is being widely discussed after a couple of decades of slowly growing awareness of the creeping expansion of corporate legal rights expanded since the late 19th century.

The first precedents were set on behalf of Southern Pacific railroad in the late 19th century. Chris Carlsson will talk about the origins and and describe the evolution over time, with help from other experts TBA.
