Event Details

Solstice in the Streets 2012 brings a mix of festivity and activism to downtown San Francisco with banners and puppets. We set the time for 3pm so folks could go from the action to the Ocean Beach Solstice Ritual at 7:30pm without a long layover.

All are welcome at this nonviolent action. Dress colorfully and comfortably. Bring musical instruments, signs, masks, colorful streamers, pinwheels, etc.

Although we will visit and protest at some corporate or govt sites, we are not planning to risk arrest. This is a family and youth-friendly action. Please no alcohol or drugs before or during the action.

Meeting Place – We “think” they mean Justin Herman Plaza, but here’s the exact wording from their Facebook page.

Gather 3pm at Embarcadero Plaza so we can be on the streets as the offices empty at the end of the workday. All are welcome
