Judy Chicago is a pioneering feminist artist of incredible talent and determination to persevere. Join Docent Karen Libby via Zoom on September 9th at 11:00 am for a presentation exploring Chicago’s depth of conviction, different mediums, and various life experiences that shaped her oeuvre. Drawing from works in the Fine Arts Museums and related archival materials now on display, “Judy Chicago: A Retrospective” pays homage to an artist whose lifelong fight against the suppression and erasure of women’s creativity has come full circle. This highly descriptive program is designed for people who have vision impairment and welcomes everyone.
