Free Hot Dog Day | Inner Richmond
Sadly, the Frankenart Mart closed in February 2016 after 10 fun years.
The Frankenart Mart is a quirky “only in San Francisco” type of art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind participatory art projects, but once a month there’s free hot dogs. Cat hair toppings are available.
Keep in mind, this is a teeny tiny (250 sq. feet) art gallery. So if you’re interested in strange and wonderful little art projects, this is a fun place to spend part of your Sunday and munch on a free dog.
To achieve ultimate gender enlightenment on Sunday, August 4, 2013, you should come to the Spies & Disguise Hot Dog Day after you attend the Gay Men Draw Vaginas Art-Making Party in Dolores Park.
Frankenart visitors must don a disguise or infiltrate them as spies to get a free hot dog (beef or veggie). All visitors will be tracked and documented upon entry. The cats are watching you. If your team can steal the golden hot dog without being caught, you will go down in Franken history.
