Keep the Spirit of ’45 ALIVE!
Celebrate America’s Spirit on Saturday, August 12, 2023, Spirit of ’45 Day, at History Park in San Jose as we remember the service and sacrifice of the World War II Generation. Take a trip back in time as the 14-acre History Park is transported to August 1945 when the world celebrated the end of World War II.
Celebrate the Greatest Generation on Saturday, August 12 at S SPIRIT OF ’45 DAY, at History Park in San Jose. Take a trip back in time as the 14 acre history park is transported to the 1940s with live big band music, swing dancing, fashion and car shows, a WWII tent city, homecoming parade, food trucks and activities for the whole family!
Spirit of ’45 Day kicks off at 2 p.m. with vendors, children’s activities, and living history camps; then as the evening progresses the event flows into a 1940s swing dance party. Dance begins at 7 p.m.
