The Year of the Snake Spring Festival celebrates the new year with performance, music, art workshops, fortune telling and giveaways.

2013 Spring Festival
Saturday, February 23, 2013, 11:30am to 4pm
Chinese Culture Center, 750 Kearny Street, SF

  • 11:30am to 2pm: Calligraphy art workshop with Justin Hoover and Gold Mountain Society.
  • 12pm: China Dance – ethnic & folk dance
  • 1pm: Charlie Chin premiers Men Who Conquered Mountains, stories of Chinese men who built the Central Pacific Railroad
  • 1:45pm: Tai Chi performance

The Spring Festival will also be showcasing the opening of the Chinese Culture Center’s newest exhibit, Moment for Ink, and a Journey to Chinatown artist workshop with Justin Hoover and Gold Mountain.
