“Spring Round-Up” Hands-On Equestrian Experience w/ Presidio Riding Club (Mill Valley)

Presidio Riding Club Hosts Family Day at Rodeo Valley Stables

A Hands-On Equestrian Experience for Bay Area Families in the Marin Headlands

Sausalito, CA — [FOR RELEASE APRIL 12, 2026] — The Presidio Riding Club invites Bay Area families to enjoy a special Spring Round-Up at Rodeo Valley Stables, a fun and interactive event set in the scenic Marin Headlands. The event will take place at Rodeo Valley Stables, 901 Bunker Road, Sausalito (near Rodeo Beach).

Guests of all ages are welcome to spend the day connecting with horses and experiencing life at the stables, all while supporting the care of the Club’s horses and historic property. The event will feature:

  • Meet-and-greets with the horses
  • 11:00 AM roping demonstration
  • Arts & crafts activities
  • Homemade bake sale treats
  • Additional family-friendly activities

This engaging, hands-on event offers a unique opportunity for children and families to experience a slice of rural life right here in the Bay Area.

Admission is by suggested donation of $20, payable via Venmo (https://venmo.com/u/PresidioRidingClub). Pre-registration is encouraged and can be completed on Partiful. Proceeds directly support the ongoing care of the horses, maintenance of the historic property, and supporting community-based programs in the Marin Headlands.

“Events like this give families a chance to slow down, connect with horses, and experience something truly special,” said Jenny Seyranian, PRC Event Coordinator. “We’re excited to welcome the community to the stables and share what makes this place so meaningful.”

About the Presidio Riding Club

Founded in the late 1970s, the Presidio Riding Club (PRC) is a nonprofit equestrian and community organization dedicated to horse care, horsemanship, and environmental stewardship. Nestled in the breathtaking Marin Headlands, PRC provides boarding facilities, equestrian education, and programs that connect people to the natural landscape. The Club partners with schools and veterans’ groups, ensuring horses and horseback riding remain a source of healing, recreation, and learning for the broader Bay Area community.

PRC is operated by volunteers and sustained by donations, with every contribution going directly toward horse care, stable upkeep, and preserving its unique place in the Headlands.
