Event Details

The St. Patrick’s Day Massacre is an Alleycat bike race around Lake Merritt in Oakland that will benefit American Refugee Committee. All bicycles are welcome, and silly bikes are encouraged.

Registration ($5) starts at 11 am. Race starts at 12 noon (sharp).

There will be two manifests:

  • One will be a flatter 35 mile ride throughout the East Bay.
  • The other will add about 10 miles and some upness.

There will be prizes for first woman and man overall (must do the longer manifest), for first man and first woman fixed (must do the longer checkpoint), and first woman and first man on the first manifest. Also, prizes will be continued given out in order of finish. There’s a fair amount of stuff. Hopefully everyone walks away with something.

Please Note: There is rain in the forecast but this race is happening rain or shine. So bring a rain jacket and a baggie for your manifest. Bring a helmet, pen, and lights (because we’ll be partying after dark).

Pssst – There will also be a secret afterparty for race participants. If you don’t plan on racing and want info on the after party feel free to message the organizer.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
