City Hike: Stairs, Coit Tower and Rogue Ale | SF

Meet outside in front of Gott’s Restaurant at the Ferry Building at noon for this free afternoon hike.

The group will proceed along the Embarcadero to the Filbert Steps. The stairs are impressive for their length, their wonderful views of San Francisco, the well-tended gardens on either side, and the beautiful art deco buildings along the way. One of the most spectacular buildings features three-story high reliefs of San Francisco.

Nearby are the equally amazing Greenwich Street Stairs too. Afterwards, the hike will continue with a peek at the murals of Coit Tower. The hike will end in North Beach at Rogue Ale Brewery where you can buy yourself a reward.

This hike will be led by Jill Katz.

Please note that the time for this hike has been changed from 1pm to noon. The 49rs are playing and there are many who wouldn’t want to miss the whole game. Come out and hike, then join the gang to watch the game.
