“Star Wars” Art Show & Storm Troopers | Oakland

Come see original vintage illustrations and poster designs from Lucas films such as Indiana Jones and the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as Flash Gordon, Batman, Superman, and various musicians, actors and actresses, and other wonderfully detailed artwork. Among the collection of sculptures on display, a 4 ft tall bronze Darth Vader, and a life-size bronze Yoda sculpture, each the last of their limited editions.

You will notice immediately that this is not your usual gallery event when you see the 501st storm troopers standing guard outside the gallery doors on charming Piedmont Ave in Oakland.

Lawrence Noble, known for his work with the film and entertainment industry, and for sculpting the iconic Yoda fountain in the Presidio of San Francisco, is having the opening reception for his first ever solo exhibition, “A Noble Legacy.”
