On April 1st 2022, the renowned Harvey Milk Photo Center at 50 Scott Street brings Steve Rapport’s iconic rock ‘n’ roll images to San Francisco’s Castro District, in a landmark exhibition featuring over 100 of his vintage photos, plus a selection of his original signed Polaroids. Expect to see gorgeous intimate pics of your favorite 80s artists, including David Bowie, Prince, The Clash, Freddie Mercury, Leonard Cohen, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, Stevie Wonder, Joey Ramone, Bono, PaulMcCartney, Elton John, Paul Weller, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode & so many more – plus gay icons such as Divine, Grace Jones, George Michael, Marc Almond, Bronski Beat, Holly Johnson, Culture Club & Erasure, and protest photos from them and now. Don’t miss it!

You’re invited you to join us on Friday, April 1st 2022 from 6:00pm–9:00pm for the opening reception.

The exhibit will run through Saturday, April 30, 2022, and is open to the public.
