With over 3,000 seats and a meticulously-restored interior, the Paramount offers a true “Movie Palace” experience straight out of the 1930s – with period newsreels, cartoons, previews, live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ and the audience participation spinning wheel game of “Dec-O-Win.”
February 17 Screening: “The Sting” (1973) – In Chicago during the Great Depression, small time confidence man Hooker (Robert Redford) seeks revenge against gangster Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw) for the murder of his partner. The film garnered seven Oscars in 1974, including the awards for Best Picture, Best Writing, and Best Director.

Doors open 60 minutes before the show – giving you ample time to purchase a cocktail, beverage, or movie snack, admire the Art Deco décor, and enjoy the music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ.When the curtain rises at 8:00 p.m., you’ll be treated to a newsreel, cartoon, previews, and the Paramount’s prize give-away game “Dec-O-Win”. The feature film begins at 8:30 p.m.
