Event Details

What do we mean when we talk about AAPI Hate? What can I do if I am on the receiving end? What can I do to support someone when they’ve experienced an act of hate?

AAPI community and their allies are invited to explore these and more questions in our panel and workshop event featuring activists, anti-racism facilitators, and community organizers.

Choose your own adventure!

Pick a topic for your mini-workshop experience. Don’t worry, you’ll get an event resource page with all the links and info from both workshops so you won’t miss a thing.
Workshop/ Breakout Room 1 – Activism & Advocacy: Sign petitions, email and call your elected officials, donate, join your local activist and advocacy groups, and share your actions with folks in your network as dedicated as you.
Workshop/ Breakout Room 2 – Intervention & Trauma First Aid: Learn what to do if you’re experiencing a form of violence, how to intervene if you see one happening, and what to do with the trauma aftermath.

Stop AAPI Hate & Activate is co-organized and co-developed by the Unconscious Bias Project in partnership with Viv Tran, host of the What Gives? podcast.
