Event Details

Join us virtually for a three part speaker series and in-depth conversations about serious mental illness; what it is, how it is treated, what its effect is on families and what could or should be different.

This is the second event of the three part series. We will be speaking with Randye Kaye, author of “Ben Behind His Voices”. Kaye encourages families to stay together and find strength while accepting the reality of a loved one’s illness. She illustrates, through her experiences as Ben’s mother, the delicate balance between letting go and staying involved. She honors the courage of anyone who suffers with mental illness and is trying to improve Ben’s life and participate in his own recovery.

We look forward to seeing you virtually at our event for this in depth, important conversation. This is a continuation of the Navigating the Mental Health System Series, sponsored in part by Sol Mateo.
