Every Thursday night admission to the Contemporary Jewish Museum is just $5 after 5 pm (or $8 during special exhibitions). On these evenings the museum also offers a wide range of cultural events like concerts, film screenings, workshops and talks that are often free with museum admission.
The Contemporary Jewish Museum is housed in a stunning modern building in Jessie Square in the SoMa district of San Francisco.

$5 every Thursday after 5 pm ($8 during special exhibitions)POTENTIAL MUSEUM SURCHARGES – During certain special exhibitions (like Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition from July 30-October 30) there is a $3 surcharge which makes admission $8. Always check the CJM website for latest pricing.
And don’t forget, every first Tuesday of each month, admission to the museum is free all day.
In June, Heidi Clare and AtaGallop take the stage. Bluegrass musician Ron Thomason has said of Clare and her band, “This is the real old-time Appalachia music, the music that those who tilled, milked, dug, graded, carried, and built by hand played in their minds as they did those things.”
