Pet-A-Palooza brings all things pets to Palo Alto’s Town & Country Village for a day of festive, four-legged fun from noon to 4 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Pet owners and their pooches will enjoy free fun activities including a pet psychic, doggie sundae bar, pet sketch artist, pet photos, CPR demos, Palo Alto PD K-9 Unit agility demos, pet resources and more.
Yes, the pet psychic is free as is the sketch artist and you can get a free pet photo. Unfortunately there’s no adoptions at this event, but there’s tons of other places to get free adoptions all weekend all over the Bay Area.
The Strut Your Mutt Spring Fashion Show Contest will also take place on this special day at 1 pm. Pooch owners are invited to gussy up their pets in the latest spring “pet” attire and walk the red carpet.
Got a fashion pup? All entrants will receive a doggy swag bag and prizes will be awarded to the top dogs. Pet owners can register their pets online. The $20 registration fee benefits Friends of the Palo Alto Animal Shelter.
