Summer Solstice Habitat Restoration | Crissy Field

All are welcome to join the Presidio Park Stewards habitat restoration team in a celebration of the Summer Solstice on Saturday, June 25th at Crissy Field. Come and celebrate the solstice by tending for the diverse and fragile plant communities of the area. Our biggest task for the day will be removal of non-native species to make room for native plants so that they can continue to thrive and provide habitat for wildlife.

There will be two opportunities to help us on the 25th:

• As the sun rises from 5:45am to 6:45am
• As the sun sets on the longest day of the year from 6:45pm to 8:45pm.

This is a great opportunity to celebrate this special day by giving back to the planet.
