“Sunday Streets 2020” Street Festival & Block Party | SF

Sunday Streets (March – October 2020) is San Francisco’s official block party – a sorta-monthly roving neighborhood celebration and five-hour street party where the streets are closed to vehicles, so pedestrians, roller skaters, bicyclists, and yogis take over the streets for an afternoon.

Sunday Streets returns to the Tenderloin this fall. Enjoy one mile of open, car-free community space for you and your neighborhood to enjoy.

Check out Activity Hubs on Ellis, Golden Gate, and Larkin Streets for free fun, family-friendly activities offered by local nonprofits, community groups, and small businesses.

Enjoy live music, arts activities, free resources, cultural performances, health screenings and more, plus plenty of open streets for all.

At Civic Center, the second annual Getting There Together is a celebration of San Francisco seniors and adults with disabilities. Free fitness classes, a resource fair, and live music and dance led by seniors and people with disabilities make the event a place to connect, have fun and take over the city streets.

Pick up an Explore Local Map for your guide to all things local – grab a banh mi or a bubble tea, learn about the area’s history at the Tenderloin Museum, or explore Larkin’s Street’s Tenderloin Community Garden.
