Sunnyvale Peaceful Black Lives Matter Protest

This peaceful protest is in solidarity with the Black community. We aim to raise awareness and amplify Black voices. Our entire goal is posted below. Please come together with the city of Sunnyvale, speak up, support the Black Lives Matter movement, and honor George Floyd and all those who’ve been wronged by our silence.

This event has been organized by a large group of young adults in Sunnyvale and has been approved by local city officials.

We will meet Friday, June 5th at 5:00pm in downtown Sunnyvale at the Cityline Redwood Square (next to the old Macy’s).

We plan to march PEACEFULLY to Sunnyvale City Hall. Our route will be posted to this page.

Given the state of the pandemic, everyone must wear a mask and do their best to social distance throughout the march. We understand that this may be difficult, but COVID-19 is still very real. We also encourage you to self-quarantine for 2 weeks following the protest!
