A Super Rare “Friday the 13th” Full Moon | Last One Until 2049

Beware of werewolves…. this Friday’s spooky full moon is the first of its kind since 2006. And it will be your last chance for a while. A “Friday the 13th” full moon won’t happen again until 2049.

If you’re looking to photograph the moon, your best chance is right after Moonrise at 7:35pm when the moon will be closest to the horizon so that you can see the moon with mountains, hills, bridges and buildings in the foreground.
