Live music from one of the Bay Area’s best roots bands, swingin’ jumpin’ rockin’ 1930s thru 1950s tunes to get you out on the floor and boogie.
Come dance to the swingin’ music of the Fil Lorenz Orchestra, a star-studded “little BIG band” that bridges the gap between the classic big bands of the 1930’s and the smaller, lighter groovin’ bands of the 1950’s. Band leader & saxophonist Fil Lorenz leads a tight ensemble that packs a bold punch with a brassy sound. Backed by a driving rhythm section, the band plays classic renditions of favorite big band swing dance tunes…a dancer’s delight.
