The 2019 Union Square Live festival presents dozens of free events like live music, swing and tango dance lessons, film nights, circus arts, and more in Union Square Park from May through September.

All events are free and open to the public
Listen to live music from some of the Bay Area’s best roots bands, swingin’ jumpin’ rockin’ 1930s thru 1950s tunes to get you out on the floor and boogie.
Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums featuring Miss Carmen Getit deliver ’40s & ’50s-style jumpin’ R & B, blues, swing, vintage jazz and original tunes featuring Steve Lucky on piano and vocals, Miss Carmen Getit on guitar and vocals, two saxophones, upright bass and drums.
Schedule:
- 6 pm: DJ Music with DJ Tanoa “Samoa Boy”
- 6:15 pm: Live music
- 7 pm: Dance lesson with Jeff Kroll
- 7:30-8 pm: Live music and dancing
