If you have older friends or relatives that lived in San Francisco in the 60s and 70s, you’ve no doubt heard tales of Playland, a magical seaside amusement park along the Great Highway.
It’s sadly been long gone for years, but you can still get a little glimmer of the magic that once was when you go to the Playland Not-At-The-Beach birthday celebration, a night benefiting Tandem, Partners in Early Learning, a company that promotes fostering language and learning skills early in life.
