Techie Time For iPad | SF

In September, the library is focusing largely on database offerings, with an additional course on iPads (which are available for in-library use at the Main Library). All classes are at the Main Library:

Learn the tips and tricks and best usage practices of the iPads with a refresher “iPad 101” course on Wednesday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m.

The library now offers free, online, instructor-led classes with Gale Courses. Come learn how to register and see the wide variety of classes offered on Monday, September 14 at 4:00 p.m.

AtoZdatabases is an incredible resource for job searchers and small business owners. Learn how this valuable library resource can help you find a job, grow your small business, identify potential clients, set up and maintain an email list, and so much more on Wednesday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m.
Another recent addition to their database collection is the beautiful and extensive National Geographic back catalogues, with both the National Geographic Virtual Library, and National Geographic Kids. With videos, and image search function, and the magazine archive from 1888 to present, there is an overwhelming amount of content available to the patrons. This free event will take place throughout the month of September at South San Francisco Main Library.
