Spice up your lunch break with Comedy on the Plaza! Head over to 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza every Thursday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM for a live comedy show that will have you laughing out loud. This weekly event, part of the Summer on the Plaza series, is brought to you by Oakland Central and Comedy Oakland and features a rotating lineup of the funniest comedians around.

Featuring:

***Samson‘s comedy is a unique blend of his Indian background, Jewish roots, and American life. His clean comedy has been described as cerebral, witty, & refreshing, and is most enjoyed by those who prefer caffeine over alcohol. He has entertained audiences across USA, Canada, and India, & he has been featured on NPR, NBC, CBS, NDTV, The Times of India, Indian Express, Ha’aretz, Asian Jewish Life, and more.

*** Gina Stahl-Haven is one of the most dynamic comics in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been performing in the comedy and improv world for over 15 years and is the 2nd Place Winner of the 2019 San Francisco International Comedy Competition (the 1st woman in 36 years, and the only woman other than Ellen Degeneres to hold this title). You may have caught Gina on season 17 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent where she received 4 yesses from the celebrity judges. Howie Mandel calls her “wonderful” and “memorable”.
