Event Details

Join them for an evening with Lorraine Rominger, author of The Rangity Tango Kids, her memoir about growing up with 17 kids on a fifth-generation family farm in rural California in the 1950s and 1960s. Dubbed by a farmworker as the “Rangity Tango Kids”, they hung around the farm like a bunch of orangutans.

The book centers around family, farm life, and food. The kids worked together in the fields from the time they were in grammar school, driving tractors, harvesters, feeding the chickens, hunting the eggs, and milking the cow.
